Each year, the Surerus Pipeline Inc. Community Support Fund invests in local non-profits and community groups making a real difference. Below is a list of the organizations we supported in 2025.
Surerus’ 2025 contribution supports the creation of the new Terus Community Centre—a welcoming hub designed to foster inclusion in Fort St. John. The centre will feature spaces for skill development, recreation, and community connection, ensuring people of all abilities can fully participate in community life.
This donation helps bring that vision to reality.

This year’s donation supports the CDC’s capital campaign to purchase and renovate a home located adjacent to the Centre. The project will expand program space and allow the CDC to offer additional services for children, youth, and families across Fort St. John and surrounding communities. With this contribution, Surerus is recognized as a Visionary Partner in the development of this new space.

Surerus’ Community Support Fund provided a major contribution to the University of Calgary’s Thrive Centre, a wellness lab that helps individuals with cancer move from surviving to thriving through movement-based programs and mental health support. The donation will sustain existing programming while enabling the Centre to increase capacity by hiring additional staff.

Surerus is committed to collaboration and to building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that are based on transparency, respect, and trust. Our inclusive approach encourages Indigenous communities to participate in decisions that affect their families, their traditional territories and their livelihoods.
As a responsible organization, Surerus considers the impacts of our activities and the related opportunities for Indigenous communities and their traditional and current uses of lands and resources. We are committed to building genuine relations with communities by first acknowledging the life of the land, recognizing Indigenous peoples’ relationships to the land, and by reconciling our place in nature through an approach to projects that supports a healthy environment.
Surerus recognizes the value of Indigenous peoples’ contribution to the economy. Investing in the development of a strong Indigenous work force establishes a mutually beneficial relationship and affords Indigenous communities’ sustainable futures within and beyond traditional territories.
